Guided Wilderness Hiking Adventures

Hikers will also observe three remote lakes, water falls, a remote barren, deep gourges, old growrth forest and the Highland Plateau.

Sea Spray Outdoor Adventures

Hike the Highlands Festival


From www.cabottrail.travelEvery fall in the month of September, this 10-day hiking festival features guided-hikes along the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island. With informed guides and varying degrees of difficulty, these hikes are available for both novice and seasoned-trekkers alike.

Join us for our 10th Annual Hike the Highlands Festival in 2013 from September 13-22 in the highlands of Cape Breton. Ten days of guided hikes, evening activities and presentations, opening and closing ceremonies, hikers distance award program -25, 50, 75, 100 km, a photo contest and much more.

This is a Nova Scotia signature event that attracts hikers throughout North America as well from Europe each year. Hiking trails are located in and outside the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, and nearby communities. Accommodations available in Ingonish, Neil’s Harbour, White Point, Cape North, Bay St. Lawrence, Meat Cove, Pleasant Bay and Cheticamp.
